How it becomes free or discounted

    What you have to do: Register your license plate number at the museum welcome desk

    Valid only in stalls signed 'UMFA Visitor Parking' in the lot east of the Museum; unregistered plates risk a citation.

    Separately, all non-reserved University of Utah campus parking (not just the UMFA lot) is free on Saturdays and Sundays.

Hours: Tue 10am-5pm, Wed 10am-8pm, Thu-Sat 10am-5pm, Sun 10am-5pm

Eligible: Dedicated free visitor stalls east of the museum every day (plate registration required); all non-reserved campus parking is also free on weekends.

Only the stalls signed 'UMFA Visitor Parking' in the lot east of the museum are free - you must register your license plate at the welcome desk or risk a citation. If those stalls are full, the overflow is a paid University of Utah lot to the north (Mobile Pay required there). Parking is also limited on football Saturdays in fall due to nearby Rice-Eccles Stadium.
