This is a citywide City of Calgary rule for metered/ParkPlus on-street parking, not limited to this block. Paid hours are Monday-Friday 7am-6pm and Saturday 9am-6pm; outside those hours (evenings after 6pm, all day Sunday) no payment is required. Also free on 12 named statutory holidays (New Year's Day, Alberta Family Day, Good Friday, Easter Monday, Victoria Day, Canada Day, Civic/Heritage Day, National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, Thanksgiving, Remembrance Day, Christmas Day, Boxing Day) — free applies on the exact calendar date only, not a shifted observance day. Other posted restrictions (time limits, loading zones, residential permit zones) can still apply even when payment is not required, so always check signage.
Eligible: Free citywide on metered on-street spots every evening after 6pm, all day Sunday, and on statutory holidays; no registration needed outside paid hours.
