Ample free parking on the estate for museum visitors: drive through the front gate, veer left at the fork, and park head-in to the right of the mansion at the top of the hill (accessible spaces to the left of the mansion front). Usable during museum opening hours, and all visitors must check in at the Gift Shop on arrival.

Parallel parking is not allowed in the lot. The house itself is accessible only by guided tour booked in advance (maximum 10 people), but the grounds tour and the Asian decorative arts gallery are free to drop-in visitors after checking in at the Gift Shop; the temporary exhibition gallery is free to $5. The JHU museums are cashless. The coordinate is the mansion; the lot is immediately beside it at the top of the drive.
